Just went over to the Blue Jackets goalie camp that my son is in at lunch time and guess who was there signing autographs? TIM ERIXON!

While my daughter had his attention explaining how she is quitting dance to play hockey, I turned to my wife and said "I can't tell dash about this, he will have expected me to throw shit or something."

As I said that he looked up at me with a "huh?" look on his face. I explained that I have a friend who is a Flames fan. He smiled and said "but you aren't though, right?"

"Nope. And I hate the Rangers too"

He laughed. Nice enough guy. Even posed for a pic with my dancer turned enforcer daughter.



No, she didn't make him turtle.

lol - That's a cool story. I don't know how much Tim and his dad orchestrated his trade to the Rags behind the scenes (I'm sure sleazy Sather played a big role as well), but I'm sure he would have had plenty of opportunity with the Flames to get a ton of ice time right off the hop. Oh well, Roman Horak has been a pleasant surprise, so I can't be all that upset anymore.
