Might want to keep an eye on Matt Martin as well.

very true. Hoping sid stays healthy, but I'm sure the target on his back will be bright, flashy and likely neon.

I was supposed to be off tomorrow evening, but I schedule a writing workshop.

Why did I do that?

Wonder who he plays with now...I mean, he's done fairly well with Kunitz and Duper, and the Malkin-Neal-Sully line has been stellar, but fallen off the past 2 games a bit. So, who do you put him with?

Hopefully, it's between kunitz and dupuis. Sullivan and Neal can stay with Malkin and Staal can return to centering Cooke and Kennedy.

In reality though, these lines are fairly ceremonial. Bylsma shuffles them like a deck of cards in a poker game.

I predict something like this:

Kunitz - Crosby - Dupuis/Kennedy
Neal - Malkin - Sullivan
Cooke - Staal - Kennedy/Dupuis
Asham -Vitale/Park - Adams

I'd agree with these combos. Dang, those top three lines with the way Staal's been playing? Ridiculous. Another great part about all of this? Now Staal gets to go up against 3rd D-pairings when he's already been scorching 2nd pairs. And oh my word the powerplay...I don't support throwing everyone out there at once, but I'd think putting Staal in front of the net (maybe Kuni) then letting Geno run the point, Sid the half wall, Letang back as well, and throwing Neal out there as well? *drools* Just have to work on that freaking zone entry and we'll be much better.

We can roll two competent powerplays now, too.

Neal-Crosby-Malkin
Letang-Sullivan

Kunitz-Staal-Kennedy
Martin-Orpik/Niskanen/Whoever won't completely blow it.
