If you are prone to anger and violence, SCIENCE shows that alcohol and some other drugs can cause that rage to be less controllable, more overt and more frequent. There is 100% zero chemical reaction when holding a gun.

Alcohol doesnt cause you to beat your wife ... but mixed with the chemicals in your body, it can cause you to make bad decisions, lack judgement or fly off in rage - thus beating your wife.
But a bottle of alcohol on the shelf is no more or less dangerous then the guns in my safe.
