I chewed Skoal Straight for 10 years. Grandmother asked me to quit just prior to passing away. Haven't chewed since. It was difficult for the first month, then the physical addiction passed. Mental addiction was certainly difficult when all my buddies were chewing when we played cards or were on the softball field.

That was 11 years ago. Looking back it was a sick fucking habit.

Not the same. Not for me anyway.

I did Chantix for a month. That shit killed the craving like nothing else I've ever tried, but it's not a long term solution because it's just another drug.

Got me started though, and although I still miss the hell out of smoke (especially after a beer or 5) it's lesser every day.

What pissed me off, I never got the "vivid" dreams...that actually sounded like a cool side effect...

I literally..NEVER get nosebleeds...and 3 days after starting it a second time, it was like niagra falls as I'm hanging out the window of my truck...

Fuck that stuff...it's poison...
