I thought Tazawa was the new closer?

According to Farrell he will be, they are babying Uehara a little bit, not going to him on consecutive days and such....Taz has no limitations and has been REALLY good since last year..so, he's getting the nod so they don't have to shuffle everyone around.

Gavin Stark of the Missouri baseball team, come on down, you’ve just won the Best College Sports Arrest of the Week Award! Stark, a backup infielder, briefly wreaked havoc on the Missouri campus Monday night, randomly knocking a laptop out of a student’s hand before assaulting him, and then breaking into the student center and busting things up. From the police report:
“We made contact with Stark, and he assumed a fighting position with our officers then attempted to run away,” Weimer said. “His fists were up and he was yelling profanity at the officers.”
He was arrested a short distance away after a brief pursuit.
“Police believe he was intoxicated at the time,” Weimer said.
Believe he was intoxicated? That’s comical. Also funny: Stark has appeared in 13 games this year for the Tigers and is 2-for-22 at the plate. So he now has more charges against him this season – second-degree assault, first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree property damage and resisting arrest – than hits.

When you join the SEC you must act like a crazy redneck. Why didn't he just poison some trees?

Heat, I'm going to politely ask that you please stop talking negatively about the Yankees and their fanbase unless your comments are directed at VP or Pete.

Thank you.

gen you my boy and all (nothing against you) but you run in the same circle as the dirts and vp's and pete's of the world who hump the yankees and bash other teams. they front run like no other so you get caught in the cross fires. :gaah:

Junichi Tazawa has a 2.51 ERA and 18/3 K/BB ratio over 14 1/3 innings of work this season.

Advice: It's really a continuation of what Tazawa did last season, when he had a brilliant 1.43 ERA and 45/5 K/BB ratio over 44 frames.

When I go to sox games, I get off 93 at Quincy Adams...the 2 train rides it takes for me to get to Fenway take about 40 minutes...all told, it takes me about an hour and a half to go door to door from home to Fenway...
