¿Cómo está usted?
Nebraska is nothing more than an average team right now.
This is because of several things. One of the main things, which has become extremely obvious, is due to QB play. I've been supporting starting Taylor all season long, due to the fact that I felt we needed to continue to let him grow. I've now seen enough. Turnovers overpower any threat that Taylor brings to the table with his legs.
Could he learn to stop fumbling? Yea, he could. That is a technique thing. Can he learn to not throw interceptions? Nope, don't think so. He is blind to underneath defenders, and it has been the death of his game ever since he started playing last season. Say what you want about his ugly throwing motion, that is hardly the problem. He can't see a damn thing. That is the problem.
It is indeed time to give Brion a shot. With how weak the Big 10 is this year, I don't see any reason moving forward why we shouldn't. I believe we can win any game on our schedule from here on out with either QB, but I believe right now that Brion possesses the ability to be an all-around QB. Thus, it is time to move in that direction, and build for the future.
As for Bo..........you stubborn asshole. Thanks for apologizing and everything, but you stubborn bastard....... It always seems to be all about ripping the defenders out for making mistakes, and just leaving the struggling players on offense on the field. I just don't get it.
And Mr. Beck..........I can't get to pissed at you yet, because you're new to this. But shit, what kind of play-calling was that?! We had something going in the first half when we were pounding the ball with Rex, and then suddenly we get behind by 6 points, and we freak out and go to the air. I just don't get it.
Reality is we have issues at SEVERAL different layers on this team. The red flags were present in the first few games, and most of us chose to overlook them. Well, now they are glaring right at us, and they cannot be overlooked anymore.
Reality is......if Bo is as good as I believe he is, he will get all of this fixed. Here's to keeping the faith.........
