Nebraska is nothing more than an average team right now.

This is because of several things. One of the main things, which has become extremely obvious, is due to QB play. I've been supporting starting Taylor all season long, due to the fact that I felt we needed to continue to let him grow. I've now seen enough. Turnovers overpower any threat that Taylor brings to the table with his legs.

Could he learn to stop fumbling? Yea, he could. That is a technique thing. Can he learn to not throw interceptions? Nope, don't think so. He is blind to underneath defenders, and it has been the death of his game ever since he started playing last season. Say what you want about his ugly throwing motion, that is hardly the problem. He can't see a damn thing. That is the problem.

It is indeed time to give Brion a shot. With how weak the Big 10 is this year, I don't see any reason moving forward why we shouldn't. I believe we can win any game on our schedule from here on out with either QB, but I believe right now that Brion possesses the ability to be an all-around QB. Thus, it is time to move in that direction, and build for the future.

As for Bo..........you stubborn asshole. Thanks for apologizing and everything, but you stubborn bastard....... It always seems to be all about ripping the defenders out for making mistakes, and just leaving the struggling players on offense on the field. I just don't get it.

And Mr. Beck..........I can't get to pissed at you yet, because you're new to this. But shit, what kind of play-calling was that?! We had something going in the first half when we were pounding the ball with Rex, and then suddenly we get behind by 6 points, and we freak out and go to the air. I just don't get it.

Reality is we have issues at SEVERAL different layers on this team. The red flags were present in the first few games, and most of us chose to overlook them. Well, now they are glaring right at us, and they cannot be overlooked anymore.

Reality is......if Bo is as good as I believe he is, he will get all of this fixed. Here's to keeping the faith.........

The next guy's always the favorite. Idk. I will continue to give Martinez my support because frankly I don't think Carnes is ready at all from the way they talk about him.

Carnes may not be ready but Martinez is not the answer. I would rather lose every single game the rest of this season then to keep doing the same thing we have done the last two years. I really don't give a shit about beating the cupcakes if we can't even play in a big game. It is time to move forward and build for the future.

edit: P.S. and that is not just Martinez but every freaking starter on the team. If they don't want to step up make them step down.

I'm not down on Martinez as many of you are. Beck needs to call plays to Martinez's strengths. This game was lost during the period of the game where 14 of 15 plays were called passes. Anyone with half of an understanding of Taylor Martinez's skills should know that that could end badly, And it did. This team will only be able to throw the ball if the other team is concerned about the run. This offense is looking a lot like a Watson offense, where they abandon what has been working and then start saying "hmm, I wonder if this would work too. Oh, it didn't? Well lets try it a dozen more times to see for sure".

All this being said is true, however, Carnes hasn't really gotten quality time as a backup this year. We are in big trouble if Taylor gets hurt and Carnes needs to come in cold with little respectable playing time. This falls on Beck or whoever is making that mistake.

Who cares if Carnes is "ready"

Taylor is clearly not the answer........

Try Carnes, try Turner, Try E-mart for fucksakes........ Just get taylor out from behind center........

Turner and Taylor could switch positions...... And it probably wouldn't be any worse

Well we moved to 14th in the AP and 15th in the coaches. I'm really surprised we didn't drop outta the top 25 with that performance.
