X-factor: Can Nebraska attack UCLA's weak ground defense?
The Bruins allow 187.8 rushing yards per game (88th in the country) and foes average 4.3 yards per carry. UCLA has held just three of 12 opponents to less than 115 yards and have given up at least 160 yards in eight contests. Running hasn't exactly been Nebraska's strong suit this year, though the Huskers have had on-and-off success. Nebraska averages 167.8 rushing yards per game - can Imani Cross and Terrell Newby take advantage of a defense pillaged by injuries?
Nebraska WILL be able to run the ball against UCLA. There will be no excuse to not take advantage of their weak run defense.
