I'd take Lee in a heartbeat if we can get him on the cheap (6th Rd pick in 2020). He's a chase down and cover LB (not a fight through traffic thumper). That's perfect for us, but most teams want that fight through garbage thumper for their Mike Backer. Lee's on the cheap this year, but his cap # balloons to 10 mil in 2020. The Jets picked up Mosley in free agency (for big money) and drafted Blake Cashman this year, who tools-wise, is similar to Lee and he's cheap for 4 years. Because he's cheap this year they won't flat out release Lee, but if we throw a 6th Rd pick in 2020 at them ... they may just bite.

Get him, and if he works out, then offer him a long term deal, and if he leaves, then collect a comp pick.
