I'm not so sure about this one. One of the hits on RG3 from some scouts was that when you drafted RG3, it was a package deal with his Dad. His father was a regular in Briles office.

If its not true, Snyder should kill it immediately. If its true, Snyder should kill his access immediately for a variety of reasons, the largest being it does not reflect well on RG3 that his dad is still directing his grown son.

Good one! Might be time to focus on the holidays, getting drunk, watching bowl games & just having fun. If for no other reason then to tune out some of this nonsense for a while. I swear if you are a part of any established media outlet you can make up just up anything you like at this time. Is some/all of this true? Who in the world knows. I would just like to fast forward a few months to see what ultimately happens. The rest of this crap is getting old.

I agree. These bloggers today have no shame. They could care less about the truth, its all about hits on their blogs. Sensationalism reigns. If we want it stopped, then stop going to the same sites (BR, for example). If their hits drop, they lose advertisers. It's all in our control.

All BS aside guys, I got a bad feeling we end up with Briles as the HC and he will bring his OC with him. This is looking like its situation of all in on RG3, which i can understand to a point. Im just not sold that we should be catering to any one player to this extent.

Cmon - chill out & take a step back. Don't get too riled up until we see what actually occurs. We are putting too much stock into media reports that are quite often incorrect. I totally don't expect Briles to be the coach since 1. he appears very comfortable at Baylor & 2. Snyder knows that he would take a huge PR hit on this one & also may not be bringing in the right guy. Let's just wait & see.

There is no way Briles is the next HC. First, he has said he has no interest in a) leaving Texas and b) coaching in the NFL. The guy just signed a new 5 year deal that has him set for life. Second, I just don't think Snyder or the FO thinks this guy is all that. Look at his record. He has never won anything. Ever.

Crazier things have happened (Zorn), but I just can't see this ever happening.

Right back at ya - Merry Christmas. You remind me that I have had many a good conversation over a drink or two with Cowboys fans & although we may disagree it usually goes well. This week's Boys-Skins game certainly appears to have less interest than usual even though your team is still in the hunt. I will watch but don't really care much about the outcome at this pt.
