Cliff Avril - DL - Lions

Lions re-signed restricted free agent LE Cliff Avril to a one-year, $2.61 million contract.
As expected, Avril agreed to sign his restricted free agent tender in hopes of landing a long-term deal soon. If not, he figures to be a sought after pass rusher on the open market next spring. Avril, 25, has 19 1/2 sacks in his first 41 NFL games.
