Herbie makes BCS predictions..What's yours??

Herbie has put VT in the Auburn category of last year, as the team outside the top 10 most likely to make it to the BCS National Championship Game.

He has picked 'Bama and Oregon to go all the way. What are you guys predictions of how VT will fare as well as who will be in the big game??

If LT and DW do well and stay healthy I could definitely see us being a 1 or 2 loss team, undefeated if everything is really clicking. Unfortunately I could also see this year being the year the Hokies are shut out IF they, along with 2other teams from other power conferences are undefeated, ('Bama, OK, Oregon) due to their weak non-conference and weak ACC schedule. A convincing win in the ACC Championship with an undefeated VT and a undefeated or 1-2 loss FSU that has beaten Oklahoma early COULD put us in there. I think the FSU-OK game is a big early game for the ACC, and it would go a long way to getting us or FSU there in the end.

I say it will be Oklahoma and Oregon with Oklahoma winning it all. First wire to wire #1 in awhile.

I could see VT and FSU getting a BCS bid.

I see FSU and VT getting BCS bids. If VT does go undefeated, there will have to be only 1 other undefeated team in the country. We will not be able to jump Oregon, OU, or Bama if they are undefeated. I also see Wisconsin or Nebraska having a shot at going undefeated as well.

My prediction-- Bama over Oregon in NCG
Orange-VT over WVU
Rose- FSU over Wisconsin
Sugar- Arkansas over Nebraska
Fiesta-OU over Boise St

Until proven otherwise, I've accepted that the ACC will only get one BCS invite. With that said, as much as I think Tech will improve, we would likely be the underdog vs Florida State if the pundits are correct. I think Boise State will qualify for the autobid, and Notre Dame will ride their schedule to minimum eligibility (which means they'd be the first at large taken). We miss out to Iowa and Arkansas for at large bids.

Wow the ducks really sucked it up didnt they? Completely manhandled by the Bayou Bengals, then again 4-5 turnovers don't help. My prediction us in the trash early
