Interesting that Fayne is the guy to sit. Lou kind of hinted that he would do this with Matteau. I think he hangs around for a few days to see where Henrique is at and then they decide if they should keep him up or not.

Fired up to see Larsson. Hopefully he doesn't disappoint.

I also don't see him lasting too long on the 4th line, especially with Matteau out of the lineup. What other top 6 guys do we have? Unless JJ is centering the 2nd line but I don't see that happening.

Throwing him on the 4th line is a bit puzzling but I guess DeBoer doesnt wanna throw him right into 15-20 mins of ice time on his first game back.

I wonder if Lou is planning on going through with this strategy. It'll help prevent injuries if players have lingering minor pains. Entering the playoffs with fully healthy defense is great. Plus, the players will be confident in their temporary replacement since they've been with the team all year.
