Can anyone explain why we are holding onto Watson? He has done nothing to move us forward. His offense lacks an identity. His offense has not once one us a game we shouldn't have won last season our offenses was just plan sad and without Suh who knows where we would have been. I fail to see how a Colorado reject is going to get us to a national championship game and not only win but keep us in the hunt year in and out. I'm a reasonable guy I understand you can't win them all but Nebraska should have Hung 60 points on this Ku team. We have enough talent on offenses that we should never have to play conservative at home and especially when wats has been here what seven years. This guy has got to go. Nebraskas offense should be just as high powered as oregons, yet we have consistently played way below our standard.

I couldnt agree more Watson simply is just not what Nebraska needs. I think we need a young guttsy offensive coordinator who isn't afraid to stand on the gas for four quarters no more conservative bullshit

This offense is already starting to wear on me a bit.........I miss the I-Formation.......maybe that's just me.

We have a fine fullback who works his ass off and never gets to touch the ball.

How do we know it's not Bo throttling Watson back? I think Osborne said Devany used to hold him back when he was OC @ Nebraska for 2 national titles. Osborne said he only understood why when he became a head coach. You just get more conservative.

Many Osborne offenses were run, run, pass, punt and there were 9 win seasons there. Former players said his teams got better in the 90's because he started having more fun.

Bo has a good mentor in Osborne and it's been paying off...

I've said it before, i'll say it again
bring in Scott Frost former Nebraska QB current Oregon WR coach
small nebraska town no nonsense knock you the fuck out kind of guy
I think his understanding of a running QB and this type of offense that we are running (because he is currently at oregon) makes him a good pick

plus he could show up half the team in the weight room, dude is huge

I like this. Makes sense this guy grew up middle of Nebraska he may be in oregon now he would run down here if he had the chance.

Am I the only one who is a little bit sick of the gimmicky offense though?? I want to see a lot more of the old power-I.........which means the linemen need to get more physical.

I think we just have problems in many different areas on offense right now......Cotton and Watson are the bulk of those problems.

How many times has Bo come on tv and said "the offense isn't up to me at all, I let those guys handle that.......I have some input, but not very much." Bo just doesn't do offense.......it's just not his thing.

I think Tom Osborne is honestly going to have to step up and say something before long. This offense we are running just reminds me of when Missouri started to run that spread offense a few years ago and it worked for a little while and then everyone figured out how to stop it.

Instead of trickery, let's just blow people off the line and gain 4 or 5 yards a play out of the power-I.
