Big news out of Kansas City.
One day after the Royals hitting coach Jack Maloof gave an interview in which he claimed that home runs aren’t important, the Royals have demoted him and made a familiar face their new hitting coach:

If he can't help the Royals, I do not know who can.

Royals are who killed my fantasy team... them and the mariners were my 2 sleeper teams, and i picked many players from their teams thinking that they would be good... but this lack of HRs is a fantasy hellhole...

The only guys that are not killing fantasy teams from them hitter wise are Alex Gordon for the Royals & Kendrys Morales and maybe Kyle Seager for the M's.

Who better? The face of the franchise who leads them in Games, Runs, Hits, HR and RBI.

If he can't fix them............?

Maybe he can summon the ghost of Charlie Lau to help out as well? It would be wrong to say that he "made" Brett's career, but he sure helped, a lot.

I just hope George Brett can fix Brett Lawrie. With the talent I have on my fantasy team, I don't know if I can justify keeping Lawrie next year if he doesn't show some kind of improvement.

I'm confused. Did Lawrie get traded to K.C without them asking me first?

This might have been explained in your attachment, but as the no fun police I.T dept blocks all fun things, like you tube, I see a bix white box instead of what you posted.

Well, if Brett is like Obi-Wan he can do anything, right? :)

Not at all

Brett always says that Lau saved his career, and that he would be the ghost of Charley Lau now.

After seeing KC's batting lineup, I'm thinking they need a manager.

no doubt he will improve the club's hitting - but don't forget that they still have Yost guiding the ship

copy that brother

I'll never forget the road/home starting rotation - what a maroon

It could have been worse.

Remember the 75 pitch limit for starters in Colorado last year?

That flew like the lead baloon I knew it would be.
