Wade is hurt. He was playing great before he injured his knee at the end of March.

Look at his numbers from between December-March which were his healthiest months of the year and you would clearly see he has not lost a step. He avg at least 21 PPG in each of those 4 months and shot 53% in 3 of the 4 months and 50% in the other month.

how many shots is he attempting this series per game? tell me another one, punchline. everyone can see Wade isn't playing like Wade. point is he ain't as young as he used to be. and injuries are going to be more of a concern for him from this point on...

Calling Bosh a pussy to post up against Hibbert shows a lack of basketball IQ from you. Your post would make some sense if Bosh was actually a post up player who just quit posting up in this series but he is not....He's never been a post up player in his career so why would he now decide to turn into a post player against someone who is 3 inches taller and 45 pounds heavier? Makes zero sense

riiiiggghhttt, then why even put him at the 5? sorry, not buyin', bro...

Well turnip, there is a decent chance for 'one and done' if Wade and Bosh suck. That will surely make it more likely for LeBron to leave in 2014 too. He went to South Beach to get lots of rings, not one and done. He'll go wherever ring chasing takes him.

As far as decent chance....as of today, I agree. The Spurs are good and as of today are the healthier team, who appear to be clicking on all cylinders.
If anyone came on here today to discuss the possible one and done scenario, you might get some resistance, but no Heat fan can feel like we HAVE to win at this point. Like our chances? Yep. With HC and James, of course you do.

Point is Jefe started with the same nonsense he left off with the previous season although the Heat finished the job. He then turned it into asterisks vs just giving credit where credit was due (whether you hate the team or not). He then listed ridiculous reasoning for making his prediction. Like lack of mental toughness, and I don't even remember what else. Point is, it all added up to HOPE.

As far as your psychic what James is going to do after next season, just say you have no clue.
Fact is, we are favored this year and will be favored again next year.
The ring count might be one, or could very easily be 2 as we are closing in on it currently, in a few weeks.
If you think the Big 3 talked before 2010, what do you think they will be doing during next season?

Don't put it past them to all want to once again unite at a discounted rate so they can continue to add pieces to finish what they all came here for in the first place. The path to rings is here.

My opinion is that IF James ever leaves down the road it would only be to play in New York/Brooklyn for obvious reasons.

IMO, people in Cleveland and even L.A.are living in dream land if they feel James would ever want to play in either of those cities. He has no reason to.

So every 5 in the league post up now?

i'm thinking that's SHOULD be part of the job discription. can't be AFRAID to bang if you're gonna play the 5...

now the downside of tonight's game is that the Pacers STILL turn the ball over WAY too much. been a trend for 'em all season. imo they need to keep it under 12 or less if they want a shot at not getting closed out tonight on their own floor...

It has nothing about being afraid....Its about knowing your strengths.

Should Dwight Howard all of sudden shoot little mid range shots just because mostly every other C in the league has that in their game? Or should he just play to his strengths and stay in the post?

They don't really, maybe on paper but their whole identity is that nobody has a position. What the really have is more like LBJ at the Pi and Bosh at 4.3.

well, i can kinda see that "philosophy". the guy does spend a lot of time midrange and at the perimiter. lol, it'd kinda like being the "stretch 4" that D'Antoni likes in HIS system. problem i see is it costs them a lot in rebounding, which they come up short on a lot of the time...

and as much as i can't STAND him, it does open up lanes for LeClown and Wade...

course he should play to his strengths. thing is that imo he should've stayed at the 4 if he was gonna play like this. however, it isn't like the Heat have a guy who's a true 5 to begin with...

guess that's sort of a problem...

it's only sort of a problem when we play against mediocre bigs, it is a huge problem against Indy and good Bigs on balanced teams.

I am getting excited....LBJ to play a lot of 4 tonight Spo mentioned, I wonder where bosh will be? I hope they do that double Hibbert immediately in the post thing again.

with Birdman sitting this one out i think the Pacers go to the paint again and again to get the Heat in foul trouble. they HAVE to exploit that advantage. also they have to keep those turnovers by their guards down as i previously mentioned. that and play their typical style of defense and i don't see any reason why they can't win this game. we'll know in about an hour and a half...

I love what Bird brings to the table overall, but often times when a player is known to be out, it allows the others to mentally prepare.

If nothing else, James knows up front that he will be called upon to do more.

At the end of the night, I don't think we will be talking about Birdman not playing when we are breaking down what happened in the game.

As coach Thibs continually said when playing the Nets, "We have enough".
