this hurts Miami a bit. Dont get me wrong, we are still the best team in the NBA... but we match up really well with OKC. To the point where I think we are in their heads. That wont be the case with San Antonio. Plus I think Tony Parker is a much better PG than Russell Westbrook.

Oh well. Bring on San Antonio. But dont discount a team like the winner of LAC/Mem from getting there.

NBA says Heat-Bucks Game 5 if needed Tuesday at AmericanAirlines Arena would be either 8 p.m. (if Spurs sweep) or 7 p.m. otherwise.

I tore my Lateral Meniscus.. it isnt fun.. Not sure on the timetable with surgery tho.. I played football for 2 more weeks after i tore mine..

Damn avalon that sucks. I'm not sure of the position you played and I'm not sure of the pain (although I can only imagine). But I have to assume that it's harder playing on a torn meniscus given all the cuts you have to make in basketball.

Seriously. The sad thing is Bulls fans have short memory. Last I checked, the Heat beat the Bulls in 5 when we had no bench and they had their "bench mob" along with the almighty Rose. But whatever's convenient.

Wade is not 100 percent either. No team is immune to injuries. Minute management, player rotations, resting veterans... all of this is part of the game. Greg Popovich is to be admired for resting his veterans and trusting the second unit. One of the reasons why the Spurs play as well as they could despite the age of their stars.

The championship should not be minimized because contenders are knocked out because of injuries.

I would consider resting Wade on sunday depending how he feels on gameday.

Last year Wade played on a gimp knee that had to be drained in between games in the series. The addition of Ray Allen benefits us. Perhaps a good tactic is to play Wade in limited minutes, especially as a back up when his playmaking ability is called upon. The fourth quarter in close games, where Wade is most dangerous, can be one of those times. The downside of resting him for the last game is that prolonging a series with a team that can be swept cuts down on the rest the entire team can take before the second round.

Usually I'd agree. However, I think the Heat can make due without Wade tomorrow. Which will likely give Mike Miller some burn.

If we rest Wade tmr and we win (which I expect) it means Wade will have a little more than a week off to heal that knee as I don't believe the 2nd round is allowed to start until either next sat or sunday.

The Fins draft has been just absolutely great... They have addressed needs and added depth to the team.. They have gotten Tannehill weapons in the skill positions and that is what is most important... Not understanding why people complaining over them not having selected an O-Lineman... You can find one in the later rounds, trades free agency or undrafted free agent...There is no need to such high picks on the position when those guys can be had any other time and still turn out to be solid players... the Fins have more pressing needs and areas in which they need depth. I am hopeful they get an RB and a WR in their coming picks before they waste one on an OT

As for the Heat and Wade, players already got enough rest during the season and during the last few games of the season... It is the playoffs , now is not the time to be resting guys no matter what unless they are seriously injured and cant play at all... If they can play, they should play... It is playoff time... Enough of this resting guys crap already.

You're up 3-0 and in the 2nd round you will probably be playing the Bulls who always play us well. We need a healthy Wade for that series.

The HEat are not in a must win scenario tomorrow.

Mike Gillislee to the fins... I hope I got the spelling right... Lamar Miller is projected starter, and Daniel Thomas is always injured so this was a need and a solid choice to fill it. Another pick on the way

It may not be the ultimate must-win situation but it is a must-win because it is the first chance you get at closing out the series... No need to have it extended even by one game

Got the feeling at practice today that Wade isn't going to play on Sunday. Officially day-to-day with "treatment around the clock.”
According to Joseph Goodman on twitter... So, for those who are begging for the Heat to rest guys in the playoffs... It may happen with D-Wade...
