As far as what happened Monday night and Monday night alone.

If there are/were five such opportunities, I'm not saying he has to hit on all five. Overthrowing two, being too afraid or whatever it was, you don't even attempt a throw on another two. Then waiting till being down by 7 with under a minute to play to finally hit one. To go 1/5 in that dept when all five were and there to be made with decently thrown passe and four would've been TDs, Yeah, that's fuckin up and its Kirk Kirk. Not McVay, not the OL, not on Gruden, on Kirk.

then the question has to be can KC become a better deep thrower with time to develop ? and if yes then you have something , if no then you need a qb

As long as he can go through his mechanics Cuz is fine as a deep passer. I only have issue with at most 2 of the 5 plays in question.

The last one, the one that went for a TD was beautiful.

The two overthrows you live with Those are gonna happen on that type of play even if everything else on the play works to perfection.

Its the 2 he failed to pull the trigger on that are the issue. Now the one to JC I didn't know about till reading the link either Blaze or Caii posted. But the one that happened the play before Hopkins missed that FG. That one I saw. Cuz even appeared to be getting ready to throw the ball and for whatever reason changed his mind. But it was set up perfectly. All Cuz had to do was throw a decent enough pass, Jackson to catch it and that would've been that. Skins up by 9 or 10 and there's no missed FG and likely no idiot, bonehead pt ret by Jackson.

Now people can say the Jackson fumble was the biggest play of the game, most egregious, whatever. I won't argue against that. My point is that it should've never came down to Gruden having to feel that he needed to put Jackson back there. Because he represented the best chance for a big return. Not if Cousins makes those thorws.

KC is young QB with little experience. He needs time to learn the proper personal reads and the confidence to trust the read.
