That one wasn't nearly as bad of a call. He hit him (not hard, granted) with the top of his helmet. I don't like the call, but it's not as unthinkable as the Gerry call.

If he kept his head up he could have made that same hit and it would have been fine. He kind of speared him though and that's gonna get called.

One of the play by play fellas commented that if Bosa had moved his head to the side, he would have been safe from receiving the penalty. Obviously he didn't see Gerry's perfectly legal tackle in which he DID move his head to the side. Like I said before, the officials have been given way to much power to ruin it for a team.

I don't like the targeting penalty either, but Bosa did lead with his helmet. He actually could have really hurt himself on that play, as opposed to the offensive player. Now the Gerry penalty was absolutely atrocious, and not only that, but how in the hell did the replay cocksuckers not overturn the ejection on that penalty? Just disgusting.

i didn't think to come in here and say something. that was just a really stupid play by Bosa. keep your head up son and drive through the guy. that's the biggest mistake most of these kids make, is they lead with the crown of the helmet, just such an easy call for the ref.
