Taking my youngest with me. He bleeds the old gold and blue even more than I do. He's been going to WVU games since he was 5.
I cannot wait to see this year's team play.
The crowd will be large… I expect it will be loud.
Dana has remained confident in his team. This week he cited the play of the offensive line. They have another stern test Saturday night. I believe WVU will offer OU its most difficult test as well.
I am not convinced the OU QB will pose a serious threat with his arm. OU pounded out over 300 yds of rushing offense last year. As a result of the success of their ground game, they dominated the TOP. WVU had trouble with their 3rd down defense against Bama in the first game of the season. This allowed Bama to sustain drives and dominate the TOP as well.
As we witnessed last week, when WVU's defense stops its opponents… it can amp up the number of offensive plays it gets off.
If WVU plays to their potential against OU, I think they will enjoy success.
I have a sense we will see Morgantown burn late Saturday night…
