quick side note, not trying to be a dick or ungrateful because it doesnt matter.. but why didnt the reviewed goal count? no whistle before carter bashed it in (or directly after, for the intent piece).. and they played through the goal horn before.. very confusing to me

the whistle doesn't actually have to sound. The ref has to 'have the intent' or 'be in the process' of blowing the whistle.
