Tom Hardy's new movie on Netflix.

Don't waste your time.
Hardy should be embarrassed. Netflix should be embarrassed. Olyphant should be embarrassed.

The acting was OK.

The directing sucked. The CGI sucked HARD. The set sucked. The story has been rehashed dozens and dozens of times.

Maybe it gets better, I stopped about halfway through. I will try again tonight with an open mind.

I just expected...not greatness but merely adequateness?

I finished it, because the wife insisted her niece said it was good. It never really got better.
Turns out the niece has the hots for Hardy.
Whatever. I don't think he's a great actor, but this one didn't do him any favors. Campy, predictable, low budget, bad CGI.
But Hardy is Hardy and Olyphant is ok in his limited role.

it was a mindless watch...I don't think I had my expectations all that high

Just watched it the other night. It was fine for what it was but there was a couple of things I found laughable. One, hardly anybody in the movie ever had to reload, so guns that might hold around 15 rounds were being shot at least three times that or more before having to be reloaded. And number two,

when Forrest is stuck in traffic and gets abducted, before the scene cuts, you can only see two vehicles in front of them with nobody in the car and nothing from stopping them from going

Havoc was an interesting flick with Anne Hathaway and Bijou Phillips. I think that's when Anne finally showed off her knockers.

Anyway, more relevant today... since for whatever reason younger generation kids growing up in nice homes think drugs and gangs are cool and think they're little gangsters without understanding at all what that life is really all about. The film really touches on that point.

Anyway, what I'm telling you guys is go watch the 'Havoc' that came out like 20 years ago. It's probably better than this movie.
