Assuming the broncos win on Sunday, they will have won a super bowl by beating San Diego, New England and Seattle in the playoffs...all teams who have beaten them this year. Does anybody know if that has happened before?

Seattle didn't beat Denver. Unless you are counting pre-season which nobody considers a legit game.

I do not think it is a legitimate game. It is the preseason where both teams are evaluating rosters and getting prepared for the season. Not really a game that anyone wants to give away strategies or get players hurt in... that being said I would count it in this sense if only for the story
