You are right the game is being called the Heros game. Why do they have to try to gimic the game to try to sell it. Husker Fans have only needed the game be there esp with OU as the motivation to play for the win. Heck your only the hero if you win the season not just an end of the reg. season game. For me all the little trophies the B10 wants to throw into things to try to develop excitement and rivalries (year I know about the bell with Mizzou but I do not know of any others, I tried to find out years ago and at that time was not even told about the bell, It was like the trophy that matters is the NC the others do not the game is more important than a piece of wood and metal).
Are there any other Trophies that we played for as a part of the B6 B8 and B12. The things that happened in the game more important waving a Jug or an axe or a pig like MN Gophers do every year. And when a team loses those things and hasn't been able to win them for a long time like MN then the object becomes meaning less and gives the other team something else to rub in your face. I say just play the game and see if it becomes something because of the way the game is played like the NU/OU games are. Heck on the other site I am one CU fans tried to say that game was a rivalry and wanted to push what the media was trying to push and make happen to replace the OU game for us and well for that site it didn't fly why should this.

The game and how it is played is what matters.
