He hasn't "peaked"....what HAS happened I believe is that his motivation has been shot by lack of run support and alot of blown games like the one in Boston.
I also think the league has gotten used to hitting first pitch fastballs from him to avoid his nastier stuff. I think his approach to pitching needs to be re-thought out like when he changed from being a power fastball guy to a junk pitcher.

My opinion is that he hits walls during the season with "peaking" mentally. I think he gets more down on himself than his teammates.

If 2013 was not peak anymore, still give me 10 more years of the downward spiral that was 2013....minimum.

I say 'Yes' he has peaked, but that doesn't mean I think he is on the decline either. Maybe all the travel gets to him late in the year and he hits low points. Maybe he loses focus late. Whichever is the case, I don't believe he will be better in the future than he has been in the past. His record could get better with better offense, but that doesn't mean he himself will be actually pitching better.

Regardless of the case, he has a no-trade contract so we couldn't deal him if we wanted to w/o his consent. In the big picture he isn't the problem, but his contract may be if we don't increase payroll when there is something out there to go get.
