Sweet! We were finally able to stuff a sock in Briwas' wide open mouth!

On topic, I thought getting Harvin was icing on the cake of a great team. Take a little icing off and we still have a great team and hopefully we have some fresh and potentially very explosive legs coming back just in time for a playoff push.

My hesitation now though is kick off and punt returning. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the main reason for letting Leon walk cap money when we have Percy who can do the same? I wasn't for cutting Leon just because we had Harvin coming in. Well now we don't have Harvin and we don't have Leon. That leaves a big hole at a weapon we took advantage of a lot in the last few seasons.

For those of you who know the cap situations and the money more than I, could we have kept Leon and Harvin without much trouble? At the time I really thought we should have kept Leon because he was so good, and because I didn't want our big $$ WR in a position to get hurt. Now he is, and on top of that there's no all-time great back there to give us ridiculous field position.

Also, to the 9er's poster who suggested Sherman or Browner maybe returning: Just no. Our defense is elite (as your team has witnessed first hand) and I don't want any part of that critical weapon in a position to get hurt returning kicks.

Right now, I'd like to see a guy like Golden Tate returning punts with his elusiveness. Get a guy with speed and hands for kickoffs like Jermaine Kearse. I've heard he's been impressive in camp so far and he has a 4.43 40 time.
