He called my mother a whore for no reason,i dont mind smack talk about teams etc but he crossed the line.

You're not talking about me are you? And are you also DunceKaep?

If you are, I was 100% not being serious with that statement. I was responding to the statement that said something like, "Looks like the Niner fans don't want to come and talk crap now do they?" And in the spirit of the "smack talk" thread, I came up with the first generic smack-talking line that came into my head for the sake of irony. So if that's how it went down, I profusely apologize for the statement; I would never seriously say anyone's mom is a whore even if she were one. I should have said she wears army boots.

If you're not Duncekaep & you weren't talking about me, then disregard this entire post. That would be weird coincidence.

Most of the domes are really loud and tough houses to play in. Seattle is definitely the harshest environment, regardless of the reasons why but any of those domes come really close. Arrowhead is one of the loudest and from what I've heard, they get the whole thing moving at times. Good to see KC becoming relevant again. Great tradition there. One thing about stadiums and the noise though. It benefits the home defense more than anything else and often that is a factor in the intimidation for opponents.

That is interesting that Seattle fans are just starting to realize this. It is like they have never watched football until now (can you blame them?)

Bashing Seattle fans when you're not courageous enough to post what team you root for.

Here is my list:

1. Seattle
2. New Orleans
3. Kansas City
4. Pittsburgh
5. New England
The irony is that I put in 'best home-road splits' in google and from 1982-2012 the worst home field advantage belongs to the Saints. Clearly this doesnt fully factor in how good Drew Brees is in domes

My list:

Green Bay
New England
Denver
Pittsburgh
Kansas City
Seattle
Baltimore

With Peyton's no huddle and the altitude...Denver is one mighty hard place to play if you're an opposing defense.

At the Clink, with the crowd noise and the tenacious Seahawks defense...opposing offenses struggle the most

New England for the snow...and New Orleans for maybe the loudest dome in the NFL

Denver not so much for noise but altitude. That changes the game play of opponents like no where else. & all year long.

Green Bay changed my perspective when they got beat twice in the playoffs at home in recent years and won the Superbowl when they traveled on the road.

If this thread was 10 years ago, I would agree.

They've only lost 4 home games in the last 4 years and are 1-1 at home in the playoffs with the loss to the eventual SB champions.

Over a 10 year span they were 7-1. By that standard pretty much no current team has been tough to beat at home.

The only team with a auto home field advantage is Denver. No team feared going into Seattle,New England or New Orleans for years. Only when the those team became winner did they get "home field advantage". At this point in time is Heinz a edge? It the team that makes the difference, not the field. Except Denver.
