Maybe his inability this year to have any in-game answers when things don't go as planned could be the result of being over-stressed from the heart ailment.

Nope. He's one of the best in the business. He's just been off his game some this year.

Now I feel bad for criticizing him. This may be the reason for his erratic coaching this season.

I sure hope he's OK because I don't want to lose him. But even from the start I saw a little of that "Dick Vermiel, I'll coach till I make myself sick" mentality about him. I'm not entirely surprised he's having heart issues.

This is purely anecdotal, but based on the camera shots, I noticed that Harbaugh didn't seem as fired up as usual. Maybe he took the doctor's advice. In any case, the result was positive
