I'm young, 27, so obviously haven't been a big Beatles or PM follower for a few decades, but I will say that McCartney is an impressive musician and he can still rock out at 72. I got to see him perform in Seattle last year and the show was pretty amazing. He even brought out the 3 living members of Nirvana for one of the encores.

One of the GREATS..the Beatles changed the world. He still is Rock N' and he never seems to get old. A young at heart guy. I loved when he dropped the F bomb on that Stevie Wonder Tribute show on TV a little while ago. A real dude who is not afraid to express himself. A leader of the pack. His music has made the world a better place to live. I am disappointed I missed his concert at the Stick'. Would of been a great memory. Thanks to youtube I can go there and get the feeling of what went down. GREAT Stuff.

Happy Birthday to a Legend...the Legend Paul McCartney

In 2007 Billy Joel was playing Shea Stadium and they called it the last play at Shea. Tony Bennett, Steven Tyler, Roger Daltry and Garth Brooks all came out and did songs. I thought that would be it but after Joel did Piano an, which he always closes his show with Sir Paul came out and did "I saw Her standing there and Let it Be". Still gives me chills thinking about it.

Young at Heart

The kid from Liverpool..a rebel with a plan..one of the best damn musicians who ever lived. He boarded a plane with 3 of his buddies in England and landed in the land of the free. Long live liberty. He lived free and loose..he made all the girls scream..Let it be. Hey Jude felt like part of the family...he is the legend..Sir Paul McCartney..He had greatness in him from the start..because he is..

(Chorus) Young at Heart

That way from the very start

Not afraid to show the world his heart

A Rock N' dude with attitude

People been dancing to his tunes since 1957 with the Quarrymen

(End of Chorus)

Another Liverpool Lad who lost his Mom at a young age

He forged on..and the Beatles were formed

Paul and John wrote songs all night long

Smoked a little grass..they kicked everyone's ass

Their music passed the teat..they simply were the best

They were young and free..the greatest band for eternity

They were that way from the very start...they were..

(Chorus)

When the band broke up later on..Paul went on playing his songs

A entertainer at heart..he was that way from the very start

He plays for the fans..he plays for himself..the music runs in his blood

So many great albums..so many great songs..ended up in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Loose and confident from the very start...he is

(Chorus)

He never gets old...keeps on strumming left handed on his electric guitar

His music will live on forever and ever..never backs down...as he forges on

He is Sir Paul McCartney

Young at heart

Young at Heart

Full of Heart

Been that way from the very start

(Rock N' Roll)

(Dedicated to Sir Paul McCartney..the Beatles and their unforgettable music)

LAST PLAY AT SHEA Billy Joel x Paul McCartney

The whole thing was great other than it being 95 degrees that day. Quite possibly the greatest concert I've ever seen and I've been to hundreds. They had one 2 days before but Sir Paul wasn't at that one so I'm so happy I went to the 2nd one.
A buddy of mine saw Sir Paul at the Apollo in Harlem. He said it was awesome. The tricky bastard didn't have a ticket, couldn't find a scalper so when he saw workers breaking down a sirus radio booth and bringing the display back into the Apollo he just picked up a box and followed them in. No one questioned him and he ended up at an open bar watching the show. Lucky sumbitch that he is
