And my quarterly or so thank you to Manster and all the other vets that served to keep our Country the way it is. I know there are a bunch of you here but I always forget who else. So identify yourself and take some credit: I remember Twist talking about ships or fighter jets or something with someone?; That Redskin fan VA or something that disappears once the season starts and whose son joined the marines and he asked for emails or letters? Who else?

Let me add my voice of support and thanks to Manster and Snookdad and all the others who served our nation in the armed forces. When I drink my beer tomorrow by the grill, my first drink will be taken with thoughts of the sacrifice you guys have made and continue to make so that I and my family can do what we do. Even though we likely will never meet, just know that you are often thought of with respect.

We are all football fans with different allegiances but we all share the love of our country. Except our Olympic basketball team which I always root to lose.

But on the serious note, the guys who put their life on the line for us should ALWAYS get the utmost respect from all of us no matter who they root for. Take some time this weekend to reflect on how good we really have it. Years ago I was watching some show on MTV where CHris TUcker and Bono from U2 donated a well and pump that drizzled out water from as spigot in the center of their town and all the towns people were crying in gratitude. Imagine crying for joy because your town had one well for an entire town to share. Be thankful for the 4th!

Great story. A lot of people don't appreciate how good we have it. Imagine never having won a Super Bowl??? I'd rather not have water...

Having served in the Air Force and travelled over halfway around the world, I never take for granted what we have here in our little part of the globe. Doesn't matter about our differences or idiosyncrasies... What we have beats the holy hell out of the other options!
