is quietly having a solid post season. Yea, he hasn't gone deep, but he's gotten a number of big hits to either score or drive in guys. Just based on memory, in game 3 against TB, he had what essentially ended up being the game winning 2-run single after Nap's 2-run HR.

Game 2 ALCS - RBI Double and then run scored. Nellie doesn't get a chance to be a hero if Josh doesn't come through early in the game.

Game 3 ALCS - RBI Single (Albeit in a loss) could have been huge

Game 4 ALCS - scores the go ahead run in extra innings of a lead-off double

Hamilton scored easily off of that blooper by Napoli. Most guys would not have scored there. He is just an unbelievable talent. Not many guys can do all the things he does and does well.

Hamilton is really making some key plays for this team, though it still drives me nuts when he won't take a pitch once in a while.

Man, you make Evan Grant proud. He followed up the base hit by fanning after being up 3-0 in the count.

and you continue to sound like the MY h8r you've been all season

He's a Ranger so it's hard to hate on a guy can help my team. I just don't buy the MVP SportsHoopla surrounding him or that he's a clean up hitting 1st baseman.

First of all, he is a cleanup hitting utility infielder. Second, he is the cleanup hitter on a team that is about to go to the WS. Something must be going right.

As for Hamilton, is he hurt? He looked like he was hurting yesterday when he got to second, took a second to get up after sliding home, and then looked to be moving gingerly going into the dugout. Wonder if he is hurt and trying not to let DET know.

he isn't a clean-up hitting first baseman, he's a DH, 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base clean-up hitting player who batted .338, had 200+ hits and drove in 105+ runs.

I wonder the same thing about Hamilton too. Just didn't look right on either play.

He's been playing with a sore groin pretty much the entire second half of the season. There's a story on in on the Rangers' website. That worries me about him covering that big CF in Comerica.

And you choose to ignore that MY is a .220 playoff hitter.

Nope i look at the whole picture and take into account the 200+ hits and the .338 batting average while you focus on a very small sample
