well i told everyone this would happen. we got a 3rd rounder for nothing. well, actually we got a 3rd and a 7th for parent. funny that we got the third from pittsburgh though.

by the way, he signed for 4.5 mil. i am glad the flyers did not sign him. i thought 4 mil was high for him.

I'm thinking id rather have Hamhuis at 4.5 than Meszaros at 4.

I guess we'll have to see how much of a difference it will be going from a lowly Lightning squad to the Flyers.

I'm a more of a what have you done lately type of guy, not a what did you do 3 years ago when your team went to the Stanley Cup. Id still rather have Hamhuis.

His best season came playing with Chara. Put him next to Pronger, with 4 more years experience, and he'll surpass Matt Carle as #3 on the team.

Timonen and Pronger are signed for a good amount of time. So unless Coburn and Carle suck it up or get moved I dont think they'll mess with the top 4.
