Halo is still Microsofts big cow, but after Bungie left, they have lost some momentum.

Halo still has one of the biggest communities and the universe/story capabilities are infinite

Yes, I've enjoyed the first 3 eps and I am not a Halo gamer.

I'm enjoying the show. I've played all the games but I don't know how much that factors in. It doesn't really follow much of the game lore (much to the chagrin of a subset of fans that follow all the games/books) so you shouldn't be affected by it that much. It's not a "great" show by any means but if you enjoy a basic sci-fi show, this one fits.

Yeah, so they brought in a different director to take over the show from season 1 to season 2 and its made a BIG difference. 4 episodes in and this show is definitely better than s1. Everything about it looks and feels different

I've been watching Halo S1. I'm a few episodes in. It's interesting, but slow. Nice to know that Season 2 is better.

It's better so far for sure. Also, just a heads up, don't get too married to certain plot details in S1 because there's a couple of things they drop and/or gloss over at the start of season 2 (without giving away details, its mostly stuff about Kwan and some minor things with Halsey). None of it is really all that big a deal, but watching it in real time, the first time people saw it, a few (myself included) were like "Wait, wut? How did this happen? I thought...". Just go with it when you get there

This 2nd season is the worst thing I've ever watched. Master Chief is out of his uniform for almost the entire season.
