Eh, all goalies are like that. The more shots you face, the more warmed up and into the game you are.The less shots you face, it's common sense you will be cold. You hear about it all the time. A goalie goes 10 minutes without seeing a shot and then suddenly has to stop a quality scoring chance and they fail horribly.Pens need to be better no doubt.
On a related note, I swear Fleury plays worse the less shots he sees.

True. But I think of someone like Osgood who made a living out of doing well in 20-shot games with the Wings.
what goal will you really fault fleury for though? montreal just took advantage of their chances.

I saw someone post a stat that Halak is 10-0 when facing 40 or more shots and 11-1 when facing 30 or more shots.
If that is correct, it is amazing.
