Eh, all goalies are like that. The more shots you face, the more warmed up and into the game you are.The less shots you face, it's common sense you will be cold. You hear about it all the time. A goalie goes 10 minutes without seeing a shot and then suddenly has to stop a quality scoring chance and they fail horribly.

Yeah, Osgood would let in soft goals obviously as well because he would go such a long time without facing shots. The thing about Ozzy was he made the big saves when they mattered.

Its not an awful goal, but I think Fleury would like another chance at the 3rd goal.

The other two he had no chance on.

Big difference in this game is the amount of straight on shots Halak faced compared to last game. Last game Pens got a lot of good east-west scoring chances, while this game they fanned or missed wide on a lot of lateral passes. When they get Halak moving side to side they can beat him.

I saw someone post a stat that Halak is 10-0 when facing 40 or more shots and 11-1 when facing 30 or more shots.
If that is correct, it is amazing.
