Who the fuck defended it (so we can publicly call them out and beat them with soap or something)? Pretty sure myself, walterfootball, and everyone with half a brain on this forum (which is saying something) thought that was the stupidest signing of all time.
i had it bookmarked, there were some threads on here where i argued tooth and nail how stupid it was, and got crushed by ppl

ohhh snaps, the rebel comes out of left field
Actually I like the Steelers a lot, got a lot of respect for that organization, they have done things right for many many years. So if the Pats can't win it from the AFC side I would rather it be the Steelers than any other team.

Nah. The 'gaah! emote' has nothing to do with you proving people said that. It's my belief that there are people dumb enough using this forum (let alone the Internet) that actually tried to convince people the Austin signing was smart.

You are 100% correct. The only hope the Steelers have is if the Patriots forfeit the season. For that matter the same for the whole AFC.

I would like Haden in Pittsburgh. Cockrell is exposed outside the cb3 or 4 and if it means William Gay would get cut then all the better.

Mehh, I never get my hopes that high, But I feel the Pats got a decent chance at winning it all this year. But you never know.

Oh yeah. Hate cliche that they have to play the games but it is true. On paper though the Pats are the best team with the best QB and Coach.

PIT makes most sense.

But I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats somehow sign him to a vet minimum deal. They always somehow pull this type of shit off.

Pats do have a tendency to pull off moves you would not expect...in this case, they have Gilmore, Malcolm Butler, so I think they are set are CB at least outside.

hasn't always been like that and for those that pay attention to the history know that.

Yeah, I remember the pre BB/Brady days, and Steve Grogan and Tony Eason and the like, but the here and now is what matters and NE has owned PIT the last decade plus. Tomlin simply has come up short...if it were just Mike I would be more critical, but aside from the NYG, nobody has really solved BB & Brady.

2017 is a new year...let's see how it plays out.
