Reddick has all the talent, but if the Skins draft him, he is most likely going to start on the bench or on the edge. Reddick has never played MLB before and Brown is not a signal caller. Not sure you can play these guys together week 1.

I forgot which article I read it in, but the writer was saying that's how he was used in Tennessee and that was a big reason that he struggled so badly. Buffalo didn't ask him to do that and let him just play and he ended up in the Pro Bowl.

i think taking reddick and playing him where we need the most help wont hurt us at all

I'm not saying we shouldn't take him, I'm just saying don't be surprised if he's not in there on the opening snap week 1. I also don't agree that MLB is where we need the most help anymore, however, once they found a way to make Brown and Reddick play alongside each other, we'd have something special. I just don't want to see us try and make Brown do something he's not good at and then complain when he doesn't play the way he played last year.

Thats like saying certain QBs can learn to read defenses. If Brown and Reddick are our starters week one, the odds are that its another learning year for the defense with alot of blown assignments. Brown is a guided missile, but at least early on he will actually need I dont know... guidance.
