Golson stole his spotlight

It appears that way. Funny thing is Golson came out of SC (myrtle beach) and wasn't even offered by USC or Clemson - slipped under the radar.

I will say that I have seen him compete and he is frankly a pussy. He folds like a cheap suit under pressure.

He is never gonna do anything.

I agree that Golson probably stole his spot. He's probably not content with sitting for another 2 years. He and Aaron Lynch are 2 big time recruits that left ND in the past 2 years. What's up with that?

Competing is only for legit D1 QB's. Transferring is for losers.

Lulz. The dude is obviously a flake. Glad he didn't end up at LSU.

He should have stayed at Indiana then with his brother.

Coach Wilson burned that bridge, his brother transfered, and Keil didn't end up with IU :L. I hope he stays in state and goes to Ball St.

At least we can always bask in the glory of how butthurt Les Miles was when he decided not to go to LSU.

Aaron Lynch missed his gf, he's a doucher. Keil is just a good QB who was going to be buried in our depth chart, aka Crist.

Forgot about his brother transferring, but I know Keil didn't sign with IU. He committed to IU, then to LSU, then to Notre Dame. Fuck fickle kids like that. It's one thing to have an offer from IU then commit to Notre Dame when you eventually got an offer.....it's another to commit to 3 schools and be a drama queen for the publicity/sheer lack of loyalty. Would have not taken him in the first place if it were me.

I wouldn't pass on Kiel, I've seen the kid play and he has all the physical attributes. It's not like he's getting in trouble grade wise or criminally either.
Also check out this stat, I was pretty shocked:
In a 25-year recruiting period from 1984 (four quarterbacks signed that year) to 2008 (Dayne Crist signed that year), Notre Dame inked 33 quarterback prospects. Twenty-three of them, or 69 percent, ended up either transferring, moving to another position (or sport) or seeing their football career end because of an injury.
