This Week

2nd seed - RB Jim Brown vs. 15th seed - QB Otto Graham
7th seed - DE Reggie White vs. 23rd seed - QB Dan Marino

Seeds are based on a ranking from NFL.com. I did not include the two offensive linemen that are in the top 24.

This will be double elimination. Allowed to change votes until deadline. Higher seed advances in case of a tie.

Very tough call here but no way I can vote against Marino.

"Marino, the Dolphins` prolific passer, will take any and all the breaks he can get against the Patriots. He is 3-9 against New England, 1-5 at Sullivan Stadium and winless in his last seven games against the Patriots."

That is how I remember him.

Marino did a lot with little talent. I wouldn't put him on the same level as Barry, but Marino did play for horrible teams. How many of his teammates will be in the HOF? He still broke a lot of passing records.

I think NFL.com under-ranked Marino a lot. I think Marino is up there with Montana and Manning.

Don't get me wrong - I respect Marino but the games I saw were against the Patriots and the Pats were his kryptonite

I think Marino was the most talented QB's in history, but Reggie White was just on another level then most players in the NFL.

I love the guy but I can't take him over LT on defense and Peyton Manning is the greatest to ever lace em up.

You guise are really too much how you apply two differing standards to Brady and every other QB in history in order to keep the delusions of grandeur alive. :L

Did he play another sport I'm not aware of?

Manning is grouped with Favre, but higher of course

Marino has had 26 NFL records of his broken and still holds 12. I'm not sure how in the hell he is seeded so low to begin with.

I got thinking about this. Reggie White was a more successful DL than Marino was a QB, but I cannot pick White over Marino.

I feel Marino set a huge standard. Peyton Manning was considered one of the best QBs ever before he won the Super Bowl mainly because he kept breaking Marino's record. With the records being broken and winning Super Bowl, I feel Manning is better than Marino, but in the same league.

I haven't heard anybody being compared to Reggie White or really stands out in a special way (like Barry Sanders stood out).

JJ Watt is very similar to early Reggie White

Manning's career was defined by breaking Marino's records until he won the Super Bowl. I don't really see that with any defensive linemen. I see that with LBs, DBs, TEs, WRs, RBs, and QBs. That is what will make it very hard for me to vote for someone on the DL vs someone I think is among the best in their position.

A lot of people have that issue its the reason Watt doesn't have the 2 MVPs he should
