My thoughts: The officiating in LIX doesn’t prove anything. One game called fairly doesn’t prove the league hasn’t annointwd the Chiefs as the chosen ones for a few seasons now.

This year the narrative the officiating is biased toward the Chiefs grew so loud the NFL Commissioner had to weigh in on it.

And so the officials didn’t pitch in like they have done all season, and like they’ve done pretty reliably for a few seasons now. That doesn’t prove a lack of bias.

The league decided Chiefs in Super Bowl is good for business and the officials had their marching orders. The 3-peat narrative, Taylor Swift celebrity power, the league seemed to want this to happen all year. Thankfully, and I truly believe in part due to the ever-growing narrative of officials favoring the Chiefs, the nfl stopped short of deciding another Chiefs win was good for business and the officials actually called a fairly reasonable game.

Or maybe the Eagles jumped all over the team in red and the team in black and white early enough they never got a chance. I am not in that Eagles locker room but I can’t help but wonder if the Eagles coaches and players ever acknowledged that they can’t let it be close. That they have to leave no doubt. That in a 1-score game the likelihood of biased officiating happening was so much higher.

I’ll never know. Just glad the Chiefs got humiliated last night.

It wasn't whether or not the Chiefs won the SB, it was all about them being there mainly due to the $500 billion in AD money that otherwise wouldn't be coming in. That's from eyeballs tuning in from AROUND THE WORLD on the NFLs biggest stage. Thats what it was about. Not about them necessarily winning, but about them being there.

If you want watch this tiktok that summarizes the main points.

Watch this piece from last year about the Referee Shawn Smith.

To be clear, I don’t believe the league is rigged. That’s a full blown script-writing thing and that’s different than believing some teams get more favorable officiating than others. Especially of money and ratings will benefit from it.

I wish I could believe that and I've tried to give it a benefit of the doubt. This reaction of the Chiefs fan is rather predictable and of course they're going to say that. The NFL is ENTERAINMENT and I've come realize there is no way the owners turn their back on the sizeable sums of money. We'd be very naive to think otherwise. It isn't just the owners and we should pretty much all know the love of money is the root of all evil.

It has become that obvious and since the Chiefs were IN THE GAME and the Swifties from around the world tuning in, it didn't really matter if the Chiefs won the game or not. They had to be in.

Last year that was the first SB in Vegas and they wanted a splash and when the numbers were coming in with the Taylor Swift effect it was for beyond (i believe) what they were expecting. It became of phenomenon.

It's weird, isn't it, that there is ONE REF CREW that consistently calls more penalties on the home teams than visitors? ONE and Goodell just so happened to hand pick (ANNOUNCE) it was THAT CREW that was going to ref the game in Baltimore last year. GUESS WHAT? Baltimore got called for 8 penalties to the Chiefs...2 i think. Ignoring several documentation PI calls that would have given the Ravens first and 10 on the goal line.

Don't think there's anything to it? Really? Really!?!
