There is a very thorough article on CBS's NFL homepage regarding the Rams' approach to player development and how it impacts their draft selection process on "at-risk" players. Jason LaCanfora did an excellent job researching this piece and went in depth into the Rams' organization's commitment to make the development of a player after the draft as much of a "science" as the evaluation of a player's on field skills before the draft.

My first thought, who still goes to cbs?

Really though, the development of players can allow them to build around talent despite some shaky picks. Guys like Jenkins will be fine IMO long term despite a lot of teams shying away from him, he just needed a direction and the Rams gave him that.

Actually, although I am still pissed about CBS dumping our site, it is better here anyway. I look to CBS a lot for fantasy and real news in any number of sports. I find it is more credible than ESPN for example. I would have stayed with Watson, until I knew he couldn't stay away from the buffet line.
