Alcaraz Quarter:

Alcaraz vs. Zverev 4th round: I think Zverev could win, but I'll take Alcaraz in 5.

Tiafoe vs. Alcaraz QF: This would be a big win if Tiafoe can do this. Tiafoe in 4.

Medvedev's Quarter:

Thiem vs. Tsitsipas 1st round: How is this a 1st round match? Lol. I hope Thiem can play well. Tsitsipas in 3.

Andy Murray vs. Tsitsipas 2nd round: Hopefully it's a good match. Tsitsipas in 4. A great match from Murray would be awesome.

Medvedev vs. Tsitsipas QF: Don't know if either player can really get this far. But if this is the matchup, I think I'll take Medvedev in 3. I hope it's a good match.

Ruud's Quarter:

He doesn't seem like he would do it, but I'll take Ruud to the SF.

Djokovic's Quarter:

Djokovic vs. Auger-Aliassime 4th round: I don't think this will be close, Djokovic in 4.

Djokovic to the SF.

Tiafoe vs. Medvedev SF: Tiafoe in 4.

Ruud vs. Djokovic SF: Djokovic in 3.

Tiafoe vs. Djokovic Finals: Djokovic in 3.

Ladies Draw:

Swiatek's Quarter:

Svitolina vs. Venus Williams 1st round: Taking Venus in 2.

Swiatek to the SF.

Pegula's Quarter:

No idea, so I'll go with Sloane Stephens to the SF, even though there doesn't seem to be any good reason to pick her.

Rybakina's Quarter:

Kvitova vs. Pliskova 3rd round: I'll keep picking the player that hasn't won, Pliskova.

Rybakina vs. Pliskova QF: Pliskova in 2.

Sabalenka's Quarter:

Sabalenka to the SF.

Swiatek vs. Stephens SF: Swiatek in 2.

Pliskova vs. Sabalenka SF: Sabalenka has played very well the past few years, all around. So in a surprise, Pliskova in 3.

Swiatek vs. Pliskova Finals: Pliskova in 2. She gets her first major! I am probably wrong and Swiatek wins this.

I'm not sure if I've ever picked Djokovic to win Wimbledon, so this might be a first.

Tennis channel was terrible during Queen's Club. Usually they broadcast the trophy ceremony.

They didn't this time.

Wow, I didn't realize Rublev lost the Halle finals to Buklik. Once the Queen's Club Finals started, Tennis channel didn't show any more of the Halle Finals, so I didn't know how Rublev was doing.

I missed that Isner and Wawrinka were in Djokovic's quarter.

Please let Wawrinka and Djokovic finally meet at Wimbledon, and have it be a great match.

Tsitsipas vs. Thiem as a great 1st round match.

So was Tsitsipas vs. Murray 2nd round.

Wish Wawrinka could have done better against Djokovic.

Isner with a 1st round loss.

on serve at 5-5 in the 4th set, Eubanks up 2 sets to 1.

likely going to go to a tie break since neither seems to be able to break the other.

Pathetic state of women’s tennis continues where they hit the ball in the net or out after three or four shots!

I enjoyed the Jabeur vs. Sabalenka SF. The Womens Finals was ok too.

Wish Medvedev would have done better in the SFs.

The Mens Finals was entertaining.

There was a good match every round, I think, due to the way the draw was set up.

I'd be interested in finding out, the next time Djokovic and Alcaraz meet at a major, how many tries it takes Alcaraz to beat him again. If they meet again.

Because that will make another statement about this rivalry, if/when he does it again.

For example, it was one thing for Nadal to beat Federer at Wimbledon in 2008. But then to follow it with a win at the Australian Open in 2009, made a clearer statement.

Another example is from 2007, when Henin beat Serena at the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open, all in the same year. That was jarring.

I think few are getting that Alcaraz can beat Djoker 8/10 times if they consistently meet from now on. I saw Djoker get hit really hard mentally at the Wimbledon final and probably wishing he was 10 years younger to dominate this kid. Alcaraz is basically Djoker 2.0 and has a forehand that can pull the plug out of a rally at any time.

He has the same effect Nadal had on Fed as an upcoming player and this kid is like 15 years Djoker’s junior but has a much more stable mental game that is far mature for his age.

If he doesn’t burn out ( like Thiem ) with sudden bad injuries he will keep giving Djoker nightmares and Djoker knows his chances at slams are going to be very precious and he has to make each one count to add more to his tally. I think he can get to 24 if Alcaraz loses early but at finals Djoker’s heart is gonna stop if he faces this kid again.
