All the experts had him losing touches and giving way to cadet. The morons didn't realize that because NO got blown out early last weak they decided not to bother rolling the older Thomas out there in a game that was out of reach so Cadet got more touches.

Fast forward to this week and Thomas puts up around 20 points by most formats and Cadet, although he managed a TD is just a footnote in the game. Thomas gets 3 times the touches that Cadet does.

Way to go experts. Glad I did not listen to you.

All the "experts" do is state the obvious. And they love to flip flop week to week.

I told someone to start Pierre Thomas over Spiller this week. Too bad they didn't do it.

But also, keep in mind that even the best expert advice is going to be wrong at least 1/3 of the time. You need to take in all the matchup data that you can, but at the end of the day, it is your decision. Sometimes players' roles change mid game based on defensive looks that are impossible to predict.

To be fair, I really didn't see anyone recommending Cadet as a start. The biggest plug I saw for him was that he might be useful in some ppr leagues.

All valid comments for sure. I agree that you guys here were on it. I tried to explain to some folks on another site what happened in that game. I know the experts will be wrong with predictions. Heck even I will be. The fact that they did not pick up on what was going on is what bugs me. They just look at the final stats and write whatever they can infer in the first 20 seconds. Like they just mail it in without any effort.

I will try to spend more time here as it seems most of you have some good insight.

I started Taliaferro over Thomas. That move didn't pay off.

I started Thomas over Reaves with Lamar Miller on bye. Needless to say that worked out well and I am now sitting pretty at 4-1 in that league.
