Morning BRS

Morning 1217 and all...

I am at a loss for words right now... and need to come down to reality before I make my opinions/thoughts known... :tape:

May not make any comment as in the scope of things, it will change nothing!

I have not commented on the game because I am too fucking pissed off!!!!! I can't even express how mad I am!!!!

I will probably say more tomorrow. Maybe tonight.

As for the call, go to www.1620thezone.com it is the Schick and Nick show segment 5 of their podcast. I am shocked that I didn't cuss.

Ha... nice Jed and I agree with your "only 22 year old bull-crap". We were only 18-22 years old back in my day too... and this has nothing to do with the product we put on the field.

Look at all the top teams this year...LSU, BAMA, ORGEON, WISC... and others and in any year... discipline, effort, desire and poise... and with 18-22 year olds....

and yes, they probably have more 4-5 star players.... lol... for those of you who want to bring that up... LMAO.. but it really comes down to the players being developed...

While traveling back I was wondering if our players are trying tooooooo hard...

NO... Stop it right there.. I do not mean physically too hard...

but do they show characteristics of their coach who gets irritated, loses his composure and thus performs as their coach depicts? Under TO, we played mean, hard and fearless football and without reservation that we were going to win the game. We in-fact were a mirrored image of TO in which he was poised 95% of the time...

T.O only had to give us a look to let us know we were not doing what is expected of us... and when he did verbalize his distain at halftime, on occasion....... it hit home and we brought the wood in the next half... He would teach our players what they were doing wrong if it was a technique or read issue, and if it was an effort issue… he would sit your ass on the bench so you could see that the guy behind you was hungry… and ready to play if you were not!

This is just something I was thinking about on trying to figure out the whys?

OK, have to hit a meeting to see if we should bother showing up to improve next season...

I will say once again... look to 2013 season guys... if we don't show by then, well... all bets are off on next step!

Maybe Bo and ole Barn should be thankful Nebraska didn't play West Virginia! They would have scored in the 90s for sure with our undisciplined and terribly coached team. I don't know how anyone can continually blame the players when they have no coaching leadership. The buck stops at the coaches feet. If they don't turn this debacle around by the end of the 2013 season, change WILL be needed.

One more thing, Osborne only had one team that just totally self destructed and maybe even quit and that was the 1990 team. That's all I've got to say... For now!

I just listened to the podcast in which Corey Raymond {The belly flop expert} threw his players under the bus! Why that motherfucker! In my previous post I mentioned Bo and ole Barn, but now I have to mention Corey the puke also. Bo needs to get rid of ole Barn and the belly flop expert before the 2012 season and hire real division one assistants for those positions.

One thing more to add to your comment X - Nebraska has three coaches working with the "O" Line for the 2011 season. The results were not good considering the amount of coaches involved. Ole Barn, Brenden Stai, and another guy which escapes me in my advanced age. Three coaches and look at the results. Bo is ultimately responsible so make it 4 coaches total.

I know there's more than one OFFENSIVE line coach, but since ole Barn was the guy who stunk it up before these other guys got here, I'll continue to blame him. You did make a good point about Bo being ultimately responsible for his cohorts.
