Good article about Bynum defensively in Game 1 vs. OKC

Nice breakdown for those that don't watch much basketball. It points out why I thought the series would be a sweep (or go 5 games) even before the series started. It's a very bad match up for the Lakers. OKC's offense is nothing but high screens. They do 2 things:

1) Use their quickness to turn the corner and get a lay up

2) If the defender undercuts the screen, pull up for a jumper.

They do #2 A LOT.

Only thing I disagree with the article on is he said LA has two elite perimeter defenders. Artest and Kobe? Hardly. Artest isn't even close to what he once was. And while Kobe is still effective against most players, he's lost the lateral quickness to keep up with blazingly fast guards like Westbrook.

I wouldn't necessarily put this all on Bynum either. The guy used Howard as an example but I'm fairly certain OKC would do the exact same thing to Orlando. When you've got a team shooting 50% on long jumpers, you're pretty much screwed.
