Yea I made the mistake of posting this on TKP as it seemed some had an eternal meltdown (won't make the mistake of posting there again).

I went to the Richmond Hokie Club Kickoff Dinner a couple of weeks ago and had someone close to the program actually tell me this and that MW knew about it for a while but was conflicted about telling peopel about his condition. Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them and I am sure he will heal up just fine.

Sorry about all that. The community there has become pretty tight-knit and loaded with inside jokes. The guys can come on pretty strong but if you can read through the sarcasm you will see it is mostly harmless.

I enjoy reading the technical write-ups after games en sech, but aside from that, the comments there are tough to read. If you go against the grain at all, it seems like you're pretty much banished as some kind of hokiehater.

Not as flattering, but probably a bit on the accurate side. VT has to improve performance if they're going to impress. Still, the prediction here is the ACC Championship game, so not too shabby...

Wow... glad to see, but not sure it's deserved. We'll need to be that close if we start 1-1 and hope to be ranked by some point in October.

Duke has been taking some hits, making up for their relatively good health last year I guess. Besides the Connette transfer there's Jela Duncan out for academic reasons, and now both Kelby Brown and Braxton Deaver out with ACLs. Those who thought duke might finish atop the Coastal again... I don't see it.

From a personal perspective, I really feel for the kid. It sucks when any college athlete has to deal with something like this.

From a Hokies perspective, I think that it is good and bad. Sure it makes this a more winnable game but I still think that the 2015 Hokies will be significantly better than the 2014 version and I loved the idea of welcoming a first time QB to Lane next season with a monster front line and vet defense.

I'm bummed for Braxton but stoked for the Hokies. I still cannot understand how UVA has recruited so well with Mike London. Hopefully a return to 10-win seasons will help convince more recruits that Blacksburg is the place to be.
