Stance: Goofy
Some notes:
Flames (6) are the only team in the league with less points than the Jackets (7). But they have played three fewer games.
Leland Irving gets his first start in a year for Calgary. And the Jackets are masters at boosting a new goalie's confidence.
On the Jackets side, they have decided that they don't like winning faceoffs and it hurts players feelings when a pass is in the perfect spot and they aren't ready. Plus, all that effort makes others tired. So they have addressed these deficiencies by sending Ryan Johansen to Siberia and giving his spot to the skeletal remains of Mark Letestu. Don't worry, RJ Umberger and his "Skates O' Molasses" are still on the top line.
Dubinski has not been suspended, and will be skating into people's backs provided he's not constantly serving the extra two for the 37 (estimated) fights that Dorsett will start tonight.
Nikita Nikitin is back tonight, which means Jack Johnson should be able to get his time played stat measured in minutes again, not hours.
"The Serge" is in net. If he gets through the first half of the first without letting in one from the Blue Line (the Jackets store on the main concourse) the Jackets should have a decent game.
"We have the Stones to fail for Jones!"
