Well, I don't necessarily know if I'll go, "nowhere" after I die. I just don't think it'll be the afterlife that any religions depict. In fact, I'm entirely uncertain as to whether there is an afterlife or not. Being an atheist doesn't mean that I necessarily subscribe to the notion that nothing happens after death but it's merely because of the lack of evidence of a higher power. Personally I have nothing wrong with others having religion or faith but it's not my cup of tea.

I celebrate the cultural aspect rather than the religious aspect. I think they're beautiful holidays regardless of what your beliefs are.
