With the Flames drafting history (some bad picks accompanied with bad luck), I don't know how successful tanking would be. Are the Oilers on year 5 of rebuild part 1 or year 2 of rebuild part 2? I think Feaster is trying to make some moves to acquire some draft picks or bring in different players, but I don't think anything will happen until January or February at the earliest.

I think Feaster will change that.

one year he had a PPG 79 pts in 78 games. a few 40 goal seasons to boot. guy could be 100pt guy easy with the right center.

Problem is that he's had Doug MacLean and Scott Howson trying to find that center.
