I don't know how well it translated on TV but the body language of the players on the bench and changing (esp on the pp) was something to see. The players minds looked like they were a million miles away.

They haven't had much of a fire in their belly this year...they used it all in Philly and NYC. The home games have sucked. I really do hate CEC. They were into it at the puck drop, but after things went south it hushed up quickly. Tonight was the biggest hockey crowd ever...but I sure couldn't tell. People too busy eating their free nachos to care.

I don't even think they need a defensive coach, just a better coach. This team is starting to feel like the Caps or Sharks.

Hah...I wish I was a Sharks fan right now. Marleau en fuego.

To me the fanbase has always been like that, just that when the Mellon Arena got rocking, the sound was contained in a much smaller area, and sounded much louder. CEC is huge compared to Mellon Arena.

For me personally i have found the older that i get the easier it is to lose my voice. The only yelling i do now at the games is at the idiots around me yelling "shoot" or the ones who stand up in front of you while the game is going on.

Haha, yea....the worst are the people who lean forward in their seat the entire game, thus making everyone behind them lean forward.

Yep, we had a leaner in front of us at the Toronto game. My other favorite is the "announcer", aka telling anyone who will listen to them who currently has the puck. "come on sid, come on geno, come on kuni" It is mind numbing!

For the 1st time all season the Islanders played for 60 minutes. Nabby was GREAT!! McDonald deserved the major penalty. No loss if he's suspended. The Pens looked flat in the 1st period. I don't know why they would take the Isles lightly. The Islanders beat them in a home & home late last year. I'm sure Bylsma remembers those losses.

Tavares is a special player. Moulson is Goalden & for now the Islanders would be a playoff team.

I want to watch that Isles/Pens game from two seasons ago. Or was it last season?
