Thus ends the goalie controversy.

I just hope the Canucks are getting all this pent-up offense out of their system tonight.

Schultz has been pretty bad so far this season, but ya'll don't listen to me:blabla:

No, I just disagree. I think he does a lot of things he doesn't get credit for and he's generally a solid guy (for the 3rd pair especially). Guys can have a bad night - it happens. Doesn't mean he's having a bad season.

He's turned the puck over far too much and IMO has been carried by Wideman when he's paired with him.

The Canuck fans can STFU. OV has two goals tonight.

Sing-songing OV? Why?>

There are a hell of a lot of people there just to see OV tonight.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was mainly tribute after an entertaining show.

we (as a crowd) tend not to chant someone's name over and over in mocking fashion ... well, except for Luongo, that is. But, as the riots showed, once people start something, mob mentality isn't far behind

woah, how did Weise miss that one?
looked like he had the goalie beat clean

Believe me - I used to hate Schultz. He's not incredibly gifted athletically for sure. But he knows this and doesn't wait to get rid of the puck, is strong in the corners, etc. I don't think his turnovers are that bad. He's who we have in either case. You like Erskine better?

Last year Erskine, definately. He played extremely well last year. That said, the years prior to last, he wasn't as solid. If he plays like the Erskine of last year, Erskine for sure, if he's the Erskine of a year or 2 ago, then Schultz.
